A vertically integrated, national owner and operator of multi-family housing is hiring a real estate Attorney to report to its GC and assist its in-house legal and investment team on multifamily commercial real estate transactions. The location for this role is in downtown Austin and the candidate must live in Austin MSA or be willing to relocate. This attorney will review, assess, and prepare purchase agreements, contracts, conveyance documents and other closing documents related to real estate transactions; Review and analyze title insurance commitments, title documents and surveys, and legal descriptions of the property; Review and assess financing options, lending requirements, and title affidavits; Prepare letters, memoranda, and other legal-related correspondence; and perform many other duties as is required to meet deadlines and close transactions. This position will pay a base salary in the mid $100s with an annual bonus.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Texas State Bar.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate law, preferably with a focus on multi-family commercial real estate transactions.
- Strong understanding of title insurance, property surveys, and real estate financing.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
